RJT Fittings
RJT Unions (Ring Joint Type) can be recognised by the slim hexagon nut and O section joint ring.
Comprising of a nut, male, liner and O-ring seal.
They are not recommended for cleaned in place pipework, as the gap between the liner and the male is difficult to clean
RJT Unions are very popular for frequently dismantled sections of pipework.
All wetted parts are grade 316 stainless steel whilst the nut is 304
Joint rings are Nitrile as standard and also available in EPDM, viton, silicon and PTFE.
RJT union parts are made to BS 4825 part 5
